12/01 Lowell's 14th Annual World AIDS Day
6:00-8:00pm Middlesex Community College; 33 Kearney Square in Downtown Lowell
This year’s World AIDS Day theme is “STOP AIDS. KEEP THE PROMISE.” Come enjoy an evening of music, speakers, reflections and remembrances of the AIDS epidemic and it's victims. Refreshments will be provided. This event is free and open to the public. 12/03 Murphy's Law: "Bullet-Proof Comedy"
2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
A one-man show by performer Tom Murphy, whose performance includes "the Unicycle of Death," juggling, ladder tricks, acrobatics, dance and audience participation. Appropriate for ages four and up.

Lecture will be delivered by UN Ambassador Jonathan Morse, will be followed with a panel discussion chaired by Marty Meehan. Includes a tribute to UML Professors Emeriti Dean Bergeron and Joyce Denning.

Roland Emmerich's "The Day After Tomorrow," a disaster film about global warming and its devastating effects. Celebration and congratulatory reception at 6:30 before the film, discussion following the film.
