11/9 Remembrance Day Ceremony
2:00 p.m.
University community members are invited to participate in a Day of Remembrance for the students and other University community members who have been lost this past year. All students, faculty, and staff are being asked to observe a moment of silence at 12:05 p.m. The Remembrance Ceremony is open to everyone.

"The Ground Truth" - a new documentary about the war in Iraq featuring the voices of returned Iraq veterans.

11/9 Patti Quigley: "Beyond the 11th"
7:00 p.m.
Patti Quigley, co-founder of the charitable group "Beyond the 11th" will be speaking on campus. "Beyond the 11th" is a group started by widows of men killed on the hijacked planes of 9/11. They work to provide assistance and support to widows and children in Afghanistan.

11/10 Campus Clean Up
3:00 p.m.
The Alternative Spring Break Club invites all Univeristy community members to help pick up around campus. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided, but come dressed in school colors!

11/14 Common Text Film Series: Grizzly Man
7:00 p.m.
Werner Herzog's "Grizzly Man," a film chronicling the life of Timothy Treadwell, the famous outdoorsman who dedicated his life to studying grizzlies.

11/14 Flu Shot Clinic
10 a.m.
The University’s Health Services will offer two Flu Shot Clinics in November. This shot will help prevent the annual strain of flu expected during the current season. Cost is $15 and is open to the entire University community.

11/15 UML Campus College Bowl Tournament
4:00 p.m.
Teams of 4 or individuals can sign up to compete for this Jeopardy-style evening. Sign up by Nov. 10 to play!
